The proceeds from our 2020 pantomime, Wild West: The Pantomime, were donated to the Isabel Hospice in Welywn Garden City.

The Isabel Hospice is a registered charity which provides care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families, helping over 1,800 people in the past year. They provide a wide range of services and have a fully trained team of volunteers who support their specialist medical and clinical teams to ensure patients and their families receive the best possible care. All of their services are free of charge.

We chose this charity in order to thank them for the incredible work they did in supporting one of our founding members, who unfortunately passed away in 2019.

We've donated money to a number of local causes throughout the years, as well as causes close to the hearts of members of our group.

Our most recent donations include:

2019: Bowel Cancer UK

Bowel Cancer UK are the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. They provide expert information and support for everyone affected by bowel cancer, campaign for early diagnosis, support and fund research and run training, workshops and study days for healthcare professionals.

2018: Hector's House

Hector's House is a local charity set up in memory of Hector Stringer, who took his life at the age of 18. His family set up the charity as a signposting charity, with the aim to stop suicide and the stigma around mental health issues.

If you'd like to suggest a charity for us to donate to in the future, we'd love to hear from you! Just drop an email to with the name of the charity, a bit about what they do and why you'd like to put them forward.
